As an Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education accredited provider, the California Academy of Family Physicians requires all individuals with the potential to influence the content of sessions approved for continuing education credit to complete a Conflict of Interest Statement. The CAFP’s Committee on Continuing Professional Development reviews all statements to identify, manage and resolve conflicts. Actions of the CCPF may include a change on topic, review of presentation, monitoring of presentation, or disqualification of speaker. All disclosures were made for work beginning January 1, 2018. CAFP reviewed each conflict of interest statement – and each stated the individual and his/her spouse/partner had no relevant financial interests to disclose.
